For years, I thought more was the answer: work harder, spend more time in the gym, obsess over every detail. I wore it like a badge of honor—how much I could push my body, how much I sweated, and how many hours I spent grinding it out.
But all that effort only led to burnout. My body wasn’t reflecting the work I was putting in, the obsession was turning me into someone I didn’t like, my family and friends got the brunt of it, and I was dealing with hormonal issues that made everything worse.
It took me a while, but I finally realized the truth: the key isn’t about pushing yourself into the ground or obsessing over every detail. It’s about training smarter, with purpose and intention, using science-backed workouts that actually work.
Fitness became a tool to help me live my best life, not consume it.
And when I finally got that balance, everything clicked. My body started reflecting the work I put in, but I was spending less time and energy. I had more energy, felt healthier, and showed up better for the people who matter most. The best part? I spent less time in the gym and more time living my life.
I saw too many people stuck in that same cycle—throwing money and time at gimmicks and classes that don’t get results.
